Event History
RECREATION for CONSERVATION
Since 2007 I've been doing fundraisers for conservation and to promote our natural grass roots way of life. Archery Hike is a product of that work. This event was designed to test your archery skills, work your ankles, eat your arrows, and beat you up! After four seasons of Archery Hike, we've received amazing reviews and raised over $3,500 for conservation. Do you have what it takes to make that perfect shot and complete an Archery Hike?
2026 Event Highlights

(3) ADVENTURE 3D courses
Choose from a short hike, tough hike, or long hike in search of 30 Professional 3D targets in real-life situations. Animals as small as a squirrel up to a full body Bison!
TRAILBLAZER DAY
FRIDAY (12-6) $40
* Be the first shooters on the trail
* You've gotta earn that discount
CONSERVATION DAY
Saturday (8-5) $55
* Free Archery Hike T-Shirt
(must be registered by June15th!)
* Spend the day shooting the courses and talking with your favorite conservation groups
* Bring cash for raffles and novelty shots
* Ohio BHA will have food and drinks available for a donation
SUNSET DAY
Sunday (9-4) $45

* Sunday is the day to enjoy a trampled trail and targets that are trying to hide
* Bring some cash for a novelty shot at Sasquatch

HIKE HEAVY CHALLENGE- Complete (1) Adventure 3D course with a minimum 50 lb pack for an additional chance to win our new bow giveaway & Outdoorsman Atlas Trainer (add this option when you register)

About Me
Archery Hike has been a dream of mine for years. Growing up along Big Walnut Creek offered me a whole childhood to explore nature. Daily, my brothers and I would wade the creek and climb a hillside we named “Mini Mount Everest.” Vacations consisted of tent camping and miles in a canoe on the Mohican River. Nature was all I wanted. At 15 I bought my first compound bow at a flea market. That old Bear served me well. I practiced on a Delta 3D deer target in my backyard. My buddy and I would compete shooting trick shots. The world of archery was quickly evolving at that time. 3D target shooting was becoming mainstream. A local outdoor store had an indoor 20-yard range full of 3D targets. The obsession continued! Fast forward through 30 years of traveling, hunting, hiking, and bow leagues and you have Archery Hike.
